A recent collaboration with the UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHRE) saw Jeff Thomson, IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) president and CEO, and Hirav Shah. IMA director of data analytics, take part in one of the main regional events aimed at promoting data analytics as a tool for creating competitive advantage. As keynote speakers at this event, attended by professionals from around the GCC, the IMA power team covered the integral role of technology in transforming the finance and accounting function. They also highlighted the importance of professionals building data analytics skills in order to remain ahead and drive foresight into the businesses they represent.
