We recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) – one of the region’s frontline universities, well known for its academic discipline and prowess – which will see the introduction of the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) program to university students. The initiative is part of IMA’s global efforts to further academic, educational, and professional initiatives to help young students kickstart their finance and accounting careers during the most vital stage of their professional life. This is especially key in a market like the KSA, which boasts a well-developed financial sector and a thriving economic state where such collaborative efforts are sure to unlock and enhance career opportunities for KFUPM graduates, both male and female, who will be able to pursue the CMA program through this joint initiative.
By successfully acquiring a CMA certification, students pursuing a BSc degree in Finance or a BSc degree in Accounting will significantly enhance their access to rewarding career opportunities in the finance and accounting profession.
